I didn’t grow up in a woodshop.

In fact, before 2020 I had never even drilled a hole.

I’m originally from Brazil and moved to Canada to study — that was always my world. School, books, and building a career. Working with tools or building things with my hands was never something I imagined myself doing.

That changed when I bought my first home.

Like many homeowners, I suddenly found myself surrounded by projects — things that needed fixing, improving, or simply making the space feel more like mine. At first, I had no idea where to start. But little by little, I began learning. One tool, one project, and plenty of mistakes at a time.

What started as necessity quickly turned into curiosity… and then into something I genuinely love.

I’m still learning every day, figuring things out as I go, and gaining confidence with each new project. This space is where I share that journey — not as an expert who has all the answers, but as someone who’s learning along the way.

My hope is that we can learn together. If you’ve ever looked at a project and thought “I have no idea how to do that”, you’re in the right place — because that’s exactly where I started too.
